Florida CCIM Southwest District Full Board of Directors

Dear Florida CCIM Chapter Southwest District Members, Attendees, and Sponsors,

As we step into 2026, the Florida CCIM Chapter Southwest District does so with momentum, perspective, and confidence. The past year tested our market in new ways - but it also reminded us why Southwest Florida remains one of the most dynamic commercial real estate regions in the country. In flow migration, business expansion, infrastructure investment, and entrepreneurial energy continue to shape a market that is not just active - but evolving.

Yes, the CRE landscape looks different than it did a few years ago. Capital stacks have shifted. Tenant expectations have sharpened. Technology- particularly AI - is redefining how we analyze, market, and transact. But opportunity has never disappeared. It has simply required sharper tools and stronger relationships.

That is where CCIM stands apart.

Education and networking are not just talking points for our District - they are competitive advantages. In uncertain cycles, those who invest in knowledge and cultivate meaningful relationships are the ones who lead. Through advanced coursework, market-driven programming, and curated networking experiences, we are committed to equipping our members with the insight and access needed to thrive.

In 2026, the Southwest District will continue to deliver:

·        Cutting-edge educational programming tailored to today’s CRE environment

·        Events designed to strengthen meaningful professional connections

·        Scholarships and pathways supporting those pursuing the CCIM Designation

·        CI 103 and Negotiations Core course offerings, locally to elevate expertise and client value

Our signature events - including the Commercial Real Estate Outlook Conference - and our Mid-Year update in July at FGCU, will remain platforms for forward-thinking dialogue, data-driven analysis, and collaboration among the region’s top professionals. Also keep an eye out for our newly launched Lunch and Learn series - we will try to have a few of those this year as well.

To our sponsors and partners: your continued investment strengthens not only our District, but the broader commercial real estate community we serve. Your support allows us to expand access, elevate programming, and create meaningful opportunities for our members.

To our members: thank you for your trust in the 2026 District Board. We are honored to serve. Our commitment is clear - to foster excellence in commercial real estate through education, collaboration, innovation, and opportunity.

Looking forward to an amazing year ahead!

Eric Edwards, CCIM

2026 Florida CCIM Southwest District President
